Hi, I’m Sandra! I am so happy you found me.
I have been photographing families in Northern Virginia (in and around Reston and Herndon) for over ten years. I love being a family photographer and it brings me such joy to see your kids grow up. Over the years, your babies have turned into elementary schoolers, toddlers into teens, and some of your kids have left for college. I’ve photographed your high school seniors as preschoolers. There have been new siblings and new puppies. As a mom I know that the days are long, but the years are short. It’s a privilege to capture moments of belly laughs, family giggles, and togetherness that will live on forever in your family photos.
Here is a little bit about me:
I’m originally from Germany, and my kids are adopted from Korea. Since we live in the United States, Three Continents Photography seemed like the perfect business name.
I love to travel and thrive in unfamiliar places, though I have a terrible sense of direction and get lost a lot. Luckily this usually leads to off the beaten path discoveries down various alleys.
I love to eat, preferably food that wasn’t cooked by me. Favorites include Wiener Schnitzel, Peking Duck, and Korean BBQ.
My pictures of adoptive families have gone viral on Huffington Post, and my travel images have been featured on Hyundai.de, Handelsblatt, Rough Guides, My Culture Trip, and Adorama.
I truly enjoy spending time with my clients and if we haven’t met, I look forward to hearing from you and meeting you!
